So we’ve come full circle! We’ve had a chat about who you are, how you got here and what’s going to happen when you’ve done your time. Yes, some say that life on Earth is like “doing time”. I tend to agree. We face many challenges and wonder what they’re all about – some of them seemingly insurmountable.
Recall what I said in my first post that this thing we refer to as Life is all just a game. And that the stuff I write about is based mostly on my own research and experiences – but also fits in neatly with my own intuition.
My intuition is, well, mine … so I do trust implicitly. And I say with hand on heart, which is where your intuition resides (oh it resides in your gut too, but it doesn’t sound anywhere near as noble or romantic to say “with hand on gut”) that you should trust your own intuition too. It knows what’s best – for you!
All that aside, I will repeat some of what I said in my first post to remind you that my opinions, whilst inspired by others, are my own. You can take them or leave them or add your own opinions, which I am open to. Though sometimes, when all else fails you and you think that life may have more to offer than what you presently understand, then just maybe, I’m able to direct you to the missing pieces of the puzzle that some of you are looking for in this game called Life.
Next up, I’ll chat about those everyday challenges of life. Those experiences that have you asking “why me?” – like the whole “why am I a closet chocoholic” type thing and other equally challenging topics, and I share with you the way I’ve dealt with them personally. I’ve also seen people face serious challenges first hand in my day job as a Lawyer and travelled with them on their journey to make sense of it all. I assure you that some of those challenges are dark and bitter, like the darkest chocolate of all. I’ve been able to help people find a way through with my yogic knowledge and first hand experiences. I want to share with you some nifty techniques I’ve used which can lighten the heart of it all when the days get heavy and show how those “dark chocolate” experiences can turn out to be quite metaphorically medicinal.
I know I’ve been away for a little while contemplating how to approach all this with some structure and sensibility, but then I thought “nah!”… it’s just easier to start putting it all out there by sharing some of my own life experiences, and those of others I’ve met to illustrate that “doing time” is indeed doable …
